On the 21st of January 2015, at the Faculty of Law and Administration of NCU in Toruń held the conference "Identity theft: legal, organizational and technical aspects".

The conference served as interdyscyplinary analisys of the phenomenon of the identity theft, wchich is thought to be significant issue of contemporary criminal, civil and administrative law. Therefore invited to participate speakers representing different areas of law and representatives of the Polish Bank Association (ZBP), Police and the Polish Security Printing Works (PWPW).

During the conference the pressure was put on scale of the identity theft, its criminalization in polish and comparative law, problems in banking sector, ways of action of offenders and its prosecution as well as applied organisational and technical safety devices.
