Conference in Brussels
A conference on EU policy in the field of preventing and combating cybercrime was held on 10 February 2014 in Brussels. It was organized on the occasion of the first anniversary of the European Cybercrime Centre (EC3). At the conference EC3 presented the annual report of the activities of the Centre, major risks of cybercrime, the solutions adopted by EC3 and the degree of their effectiveness in countering these threats. The representatives of law enforcement, national and European institutions and representatives of the private sector discussed the most important assumptions of the report. The Cybercrime Research Centre was represented at the conference by prof. Andrzej Adamski and prof. Arkadiusz Lach.
